Optus has made an announcement that it will be selling the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 as of now in Australia, offering the brand new tablet at plans starting at 39 AU dollars a month.
For this price of 39 AUD, Optus customers will access 2GB of online data usage every month via 2 year contract that leaves about a thousand dollar minimum spend in total. The tablet runs on the amazing Android Ice Cream Sandwich platform and has a duel core processor clocking in at 1GHz. It also has 1GB of RAM. This is only the third tablet Optus has made available so far, with the previous Acer Iconia and Dell Streak 7 also available from Optus. You can also find the tablet from online retailers for outright prices of around 599 AUD for a Wifi and 3G model.
